There are over 47 million Americans without health insurance. A Harvard study reported that fifty percent of all bankruptcies in this country are a result of medical expenses. Hospitals are merciless with the uninsured; they take homes, savings, ruin credit, and garnish wages all to receive the outrageously high prices they charge the uninsured.
